The Scottish Council on Archives was launched in May 2002 to establish a shared vision for the future development of Scotland's archives. It is made up of representatives of the archival professions, as well as users and owners.

Welcome to the website of the Scottish Council on Archives. We support and promote archive services across Scotland and their users through a range of advocacy, marketing and development activities.

We have been approached by a London Locksmith trade body to help them update the internal archive and record management systems. These locksmith trade bodies house a large volume of independent locksmith information through their membership and as the number of locksmiths in the UK keep rising and so too their membership, they are starting to struggle with thier legacy record management systems. We will be working closly with them to assist them in updating their systems so that regardless of the size of their locksmith membership, they will have a system for the 21st century.
